Everyone who has ever cooked with firewood understands that when you chop wood into small pieces, it will ignite and burn faster than larger pieces of wood. This principle is applied to the distribution of wealth by wealthy nations. The understanding is that when  more people have resources in significant quantity, the impact on the well being of people and the economy will be more significant than humongous wealth in the hands of a few.

As a nation, our government should make deliberate policies to ease the transition of the working class to the middle class and ensure wider spread of wealth. In the same vein, Individuals who are placed in positions where they can affect the distribution of  resources should understand the essence of the principle of small pieces… It is that more is merrier!

What is the point in trying to affect tens if you can affect hundreds!!!
